Susan Kohlmann, a partner at Jenner & Block, is this year’s recipient of the New York Law Journal’s Attorney of the Year award. She accepted the award at the 2022 New York Legal Awards event, which was held at the New York Marriott Marquis on Thursday, October 6th.
Over the past year, Kohlmann performed outstanding case work and lead her firm through challenging times, all while taking the reins as president of the New York City Bar Association in May and holding her seat as board chair for New York Lawyers for the Public Interest. She credits her grown children for helping to keep her grounded and the “incredibly talented group of lawyers” in her orbit at her firm.
