Nikhil Wahi, the brother of a former employee at the cryptocurrency platform Coinbase who was accused of working with him to profit from confidential information about the company’s crypto offerings, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Nikhil and Ishan Wahi were both arrested in July in Seattle and charged with wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy in what U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York described as the first cryptocurrency insider-trading tipping scheme.
