A Long Island-based general civil practitioner has been disbarred after being suspended from law practice for a year, allegedly violating the suspension, and then never responding to a grievance-committee investigation into the suspension-violation charge and seven others, including an allegation he had misappropriated client funds.
Ramses Delva, who according to the disbarment opinion joined the New York state bar in 2004, has been disbarred after not filing an answer to a verified petition of charges that was served on him Jan. 12, 2022, according to the Appellate Division, Second Department court that stripped away his license.
