A legal dispute over the ownership of four items recovered from the wreckage of the Titanic reached the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, when a suit filed by RMS Titanic was removed to the district from state court and another suit naming RMS Titanic as its defendant was filed in the district.

The latter suit was filed by Strongbow Holdings, which contends that it is the rightful owner of the four items, including a coin, two paper currency bills and a piece of coal.
