A New Jersey firm that serves legal documents throughout the U.S. alleges a former employee misappropriated trade secrets and engaged in deceptive practices when he launched a similar company in New York City, according to a federal lawsuit.

The plaintiff, called We Serve NJ, alleges Swift Serve Legal of Kings County and its controlling partners Alan Glikman and David Ifraimov, both of Brooklyn, lifted its website’s content, keywords, and offers for services. Established in 2013, We Serve NJ provides nationwide process, notary, skip trace, and document retrieval services to the legal industry.
