Tanya Martinez-Gallinucci, a former litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, middle school teacher in the Bronx and Washington Heights, and an attorney with multiple degrees who grew up attending New York City public schools, will take over as the new executive director of the city bar association’s Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, according to a news release.

Martinez-Gallinucci brings a wealth of experience in diversity, equity and inclusion work, according to the announcement made by the city bar.
