“It’s not quite analogous to when the internet came, but it’s somewhat parallel,” Chicago-based law firm founder and CEO Jay Edelson said. His firm has already litigated several data privacy cases against virtual reality developers. “It creates a host of issues—everything from privacy concerns to consumer fraud, which happens all the time.”
