A full-time worker in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn unlawfully claimed close to $20,000 in unemployment benefits from New Jersey, authorities in her home state alleged.

Brianna Larkins, 34, of Secaucus, was indicted on a charge of third-degree theft by deception, accused of stealing $19,659 in unemployment insurance benefits in New Jersey, the state’s acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin said in a statement.
