Republicans criticized the civil rights backgrounds of President Joe Biden’s nominees for several district court seats Wednesday.
The Senate Judiciary Committee’s right-leaning members cited two of the three women of color for their criticism of Department of Justice policies, as well as their work with the DOJ, and their broader advocacy efforts, which ran counter to their conservative viewpoint.
