New York Attorney General Letitia James has asked a Manhattan judge to compel the real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield to comply with subpoenas related to the appraisals of several properties owned by former President Donald Trump—the latest step in a series of moves from James’ team to obtain more documents as their civil investigation into the former president’s business activities continues.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron signed an order to show cause requested by James’ office, setting a hearing date of April 25 for Trump’s counsel to explain why he should not be held in civil contempt for noncompliance with subpoenas.
