American Airlines Group was hit with a discrimination lawsuit Sunday in New York Eastern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by The Law Office of Adam D. Glassman on behalf of Boris Abayev and Regina Abayev, contends that American Airlines wrongfully kicked Boris Abayev off of a flight in Jan. 2021 for not having his mask on before the plane was to take off. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00386, Abayev et al v. American Airlines, Inc.
