The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to grant certiorari in a suit over New Jersey’s withdrawal from a bistate anti-corruption agency, giving a green light to the state’s planned pullout.

Monday’s order from the court leaves in place a June 2020 ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, which said New Jersey is free to withdraw from a pact with New York and dissolve the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor.
