Longtime Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton partner Breon Peace was sworn in Friday as the new U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, days after he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
U.S. District Chief Judge Margo Brodie administered the oath of office to Peace, who focused on white-collar defense, regulatory enforcement matters and complex civil litigation at Cleary.
