Purdue Bankruptcy Court Approves Proposed Plan of Reorganization

On Sept. 1, 2021, Judge Robert Drain verbally approved Purdue’s Proposed Plan of Reorganization. The plan is valued at approximately $10 billion, including approximately $750 million earmarked for individual opioid users. The plan is controversial.
