Allstate sued a network of New York medical professionals and businesses Thursday in New York Eastern District Court over an alleged insurance fraud scheme. The complaint, brought by Morrison Mahoney, accuses JAGA Medical Services, Corona Medical Plaza, ABA Chiropractic, and other defendants of operating ‘medical mill clinics’ that submitted thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent claims through New York State’s no-fault system. Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-04951, Allstate Insurance Company et al. v. Avellini et al.
