Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released a 374-page report Monday exonerating himself from accusations of criminal wrongdoing written by unnamed attorneys that he hired—with one lawyer calling it “half-baked” compared with New York Attorney General Letitia James’ recent bombshell report detailing sexual misconduct allegations against Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

“The report does not identify an author because this is an agency document,” said Alejandro Garcia, the Office of Attorney General’s communications director. “A group of AG lawyers were involved in investigating and writing the report. These lawyers were not involved in the underlying matters that were the subject of the report.”
