Randi Mason started her law firm career at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, quickly finding herself in a very specific niche within the capital markets practice. Looking to get experience in a broader range of practice areas, she did something unusual, leaving Big Law less than two years in for a midsize firm, Morrison Cohen.

That was more than 16 years ago. She sampled a variety of practice areas while still gaining experience in corporate law, and ultimately rose to become co-chair of the corporate department at Morrison Cohen.
