In a 50-47 vote, members of the U.S. Senate on Saturday confirmed Eunice Lee to be the newest member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Lee, who most recently served as an appellate attorney with the Federal Defenders of New York, will be the second Black woman and the first former federal defender to sit on the appeals court.
