Thompson Coburn is merging with 44-lawyer financial boutique Hahn & Hessen, the firms announced Wednesday, allowing the Missouri-founded firm to launch in New York as it seeks to broaden its work for major banking and corporate clients.
The combined law firm will tally more than 400 lawyers across seven offices. The combined revenue would have totaled around $240 million last year, firm leaders said. Thompson Coburn, No. 149 in the Am Law 200, grossed $207 million in 2020.
