The New York County Lawyers Association virtually hosted their annual Asian American Pacific Islander’s Heritage Month Celebration on Wednesday, via Zoom. Speakers addressed the challenges Asian Americans are facing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the seminar NYCLA, honored Meng, who co-sponsored the COVID-19 Hates Crimes Act that was signed into law in May, in recognition of her outstanding civic duty and contributions to the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
