A Manhattan federal judge ruled Wednesday that Pace University must face allegations by a graduate student who sued to recover mandatory fees for on-campus services after the school switched to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ruling, from U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer of the Southern District of New York, was the second to find that students had ”narrowly stated” plausible claims for breach of contract against the university, which has campuses in Lower Manhattan and Westchester County.
