Four New York law schools on April 16 hosted a virtual panel to discuss barriers to diversity in the legal field, from the issues that prevent students from ever applying to law school to challenges in law school and after.

Recognizing that the panel was scheduled amid a series of tragic events, Tolulope Odunsi, a lecturer at the University at Buffalo School of Law and former assistant dean for diversity, equity and inclusion, opened the program with a moment of silence for those killed by police and in recent mass shootings.
