Former assistant U.S. attorney James Cho was sworn in Monday as the Eastern District of New York’s newest magistrate judge, following his selection by the district’s Board of Judges.
Cho, a former president of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York, is the district’s first Korean American judge.
