New York’s state court system is revamping the way it handles discrimination complaints after a court officer on Facebook implied George Floyd “deserved what he got.”

The case, first reported by the Law Journal two weeks ago, involved the court officer posting side-by-side images on the social media platform. One image showed former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick kneeling and another showed ex-police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck, according to a court system description of the images.
