The New York Board of Law Examiners will step up its communication with February online bar exam takers in hopes of cutting down on misinformation and uncertainty surrounding the test.

Board Executive Director John McAlary told the New York Assembly’s Committee on the Judiciary during a Wednesday hearing that one of the primary takeaways from the state’s first-ever online bar exam in October is that the board needs more consistent outreach to test takers as they navigate the evolving exam landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic.
