The world is moving closer to getting COVID-19 vaccines. But the world of Big Law isn’t rushing to adopt new mandates or revise remote work policies that have defined the pandemic.

As the U.S. government is on the verge of granting distribution and the United Kingdom gives out its first dose of the vaccine, a smattering of law firm leaders, some in interviews and others privately, have said they’ve started considering vaccine policies in their firms, especially after employees raised the question. But several said they’re taking a wait-and-see approach when it comes to vaccine distribution and how they will encourage taking it.
