New York state court officials are pushing for a change of venue in a lawsuit over their decision to force out dozens of older judges.
The lawsuit, which is brought by two judicial associations and six individual judges, takes issue with the decision to effectively terminate 46 older judges as the court system faces a pandemic-related cut of about $300 million to the judiciary budget.
