Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Gabriella currently serves as an Internet Law and Policy Foundry Fellow working on issues at the intersection of tech, law, and policy and as an Advisory Board Member for the nonprofit social impact incubator Seed Spot DC, working to invest in diverse entrepreneurs who are creating solutions to social problems. Gabriella also speaks, writes, and organizes with regard to legal issues facing startups, diversity in the technology sector, and how to navigate interesting legal questions presented by emerging and disruptive technologies.

What advice would you give to young lawyers? You are the master of your career. Ask for work that interests you. Be brave and develop in expertise in areas that peak your curiosity, even if others have not yet traversed the space. Above all, the legal industry is a service one, which means providing outstanding customer service to your clients should be your top priority.
