New York State Assemblymember Michael Miller, D-Queens, will face sanctions after he was found to have breached the confidentiality of an investigation into his conduct by the Assembly Committee on Ethics and Guidance, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, D-Bronx, announced Thursday.

The Ethics Committee began investigating Miller for a possible violation of the assembly’s policy against harassment, discrimination and retaliation in December 2019 after one of his female employees reported that she was “sufficiently fearful that she sought to work from home.”
