A number of law schools have Washington programs, where students can do externships in D.C. while also taking classes—all away from campus. Less common is a New York program, so it caught my eye last week when the University of California, Irvine School of Law unveiled its new “UCI Law in NYC” program.
Irvine says it’s the first West Coast law school to offer a “robust” program in the Big Apple. The initiative has three key aspects:
