Over 450 attendees and 34 sponsors raised over $137,000 at the Brooklyn Law School Annual Alumni Luncheon on Friday, Feb. 7, at Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan. The event celebrated the school’s distinguished graduates, pictured above from left: Alumni of the Year Harriet Newman Cohen ’74, founding partner of Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann, and long-time New York Law Journal columnist; Rising Star Jason Jia ’11, founder of Jia Law Group; and Alumni of the Year David Berger ’89, founding partner of Allegaert Berger & Vogel.

The school also honored Stuart Subotnick ’68, below, center, chairman emeritus, board of trustees, whose portrait was unveiled at the luncheon. Dean Michael Cahill, below left, and Frank Aquila ’83, right, chairman of the board of trustees, congratulate Subotnick.
