Justin Barry, chief clerk of New York City Criminal Court, received the National Center for State Courts 2020 Warren E. Burger Award for Excellence in Court Administration on Thursday, Jan. 16. The annual award is given to an individual, other than a sitting judge, whose service has significantly contributed to improving the administration of the state courts. It honors a person who demonstrates professional expertise, leadership, integrity, creativity, innovation and sound judgement.
