Former Chief Judge of the State of New York Jonathan Lippman and current Chief Judge Janet DiFiore chat before a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the New York State Attorney Emeritus Program at Fordham Law School on Monday, Dec. 2. Lippman founded the program as part of a pioneering campaign to address the state’s justice gap. Organizers say New York now leads the nation in the depth of its commitment to addressing the civil legal service needs of low and moderate income people.
