New York County District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. has agreed to another brief delay as he seeks President Donald Trump’s tax returns via grand jury subpoena. But Trump’s accountants have agreed to prepare their response to the subpoena in the meantime, according to a letter filed in the Southern District of New York Thursday afternoon.

Trump sued Vance in federal court last week in response to a grand jury subpoena Vance sent in August to the president’s accounting firm, Mazars USA, requesting eight years of his tax returns.
