President Donald Trump announced a new slate of judicial nominees late Wednesday, including Connecticut’s Assistant U.S. Attorney William J. Nardini to serve on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Nardini is now chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Connecticut and on advisory committees for the U.S. attorney general’s Criminal Chiefs Working Group and the U.S. District Court in Connecticut. From 2010 to 2014, he served as the Department of Justice attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Rome.
