While executive churn in the Big Law marketing world may have slowed a bit compared to the previous few months, marketing chiefs aren’t sitting still this summer. The latest move came this week, with Shearman & Sterling hiring former Norton Rose Fulbright CMO Nora Shearer to fill a long-vacant CMO position.

“When I learned of the opportunity, I was immediately interested, given Shearman & Sterling’s reputation, global platform, leading growth strategy and focus on innovation,” New York-based Shearer said in a statement. “Once I met the partners and people on the team, I knew it was the place for me.”
