A Brooklyn state appeals court has revived a lawsuit seeking to recover legal fees from a Garden City, New York-based law firm accused of betraying its client’s interests.
The New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division for the Second Department on Thursday said a representative of plaintiff Phebe Baugher’s estate could proceed with claims that the firm Cullen and Dykman had improperly collected “hundreds of thousands” of dollars from Baugher while also working as corporate counsel for her opponent.
