President Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, and Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen have asked U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood of the Southern District of New York to be allowed to file under seal objections to privilege determinations made by an outside special master who reviewed the material seized by the government from Cohen’s home and offices.

The government responded Thursday that it opposed the move, and late in the day attorneys representing numerous news outlets joined the government, arguing that a public interest in the case should allow for at least a limited release of the other parties’ objections.
