A pair of Reed Smith appellate partners are joining the defense team for a Russian company charged in the special counsel’s investigation of foreign interference in the 2016 presidential election, one signal the law firm is digging in for a long court fight.

The Reed Smith partners, James Martin and Colin Wrabley, asked to be admitted to practice in Washington’s federal trial court for the purposes of defending Concord Management and Consulting, a Russian firm accused of funding efforts to sow discord in the U.S. electorate during the 2016 presidential campaign.
