A Virginia cyclist who was fired after a photo of her flipping off President Donald Trump’s motorcade went viral last year is now suing her former company for allegedly violating her free speech rights.

Juli Briskman filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Virginia that claimed Akima LLC violated employment laws in forcing her to resign. The lawsuit, filed by the Geller Law Group and Protect Democracy, claimed the Herndon, Virginia-based government contractor did not want to be associated with Briskman’s opposition to the president.
