Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton partner Jim Bromley led a team of attorneys to win a unanimous jury verdict over a firm that promised to convert young gay men to heterosexuality through “conversion therapy.”

This marked the first time a U.S. court found that homosexuality is not a disease or a disorder according to a press release issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The SPLC and Lite DePalma Greenberg of Newark worked with Cleary Gottlieb on the case.
