Allison Levy is chief legal officer at AdvoCare International L.P., a provider of health and wellness products, including nutritional supplements, vitamins, protein shakes, energy drinks and weight management products. The Plano, Texas-based firm is the official nutrition partner for Major League Soccer. In 2014, AdvoCare rang up $577.6 million in revenue.
AdvoCare employs about 325 at its headquarters, but has roughly 600,000 independent contractors; Levy said the company’s business structure is similar to Amway.
