Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will preside over a hearing next week to address what he has called the "judicial activism, plain and simple," of the U.S. Supreme Court after its decisions in favor of the Affordable Care Act and same-sex marriage. Cruz started the conversation late last month when he proposed a constitutional amendment to force retention elections for Supreme Court justices.
