DLA Piper: Shane Albright joins the firm’s corporate and finance practice as partner in the East Palo Alto, Calif., office and will focus on corporate and financial matters for life-sciences companies. Previously, Albright was a partner at Hogan Lovells. Additionally, Mark Roppel joins the firm’s corporate and finance group as partner in the New York office and will focus on cross-­border transactions in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Previously, Roppel was a partner at Allen & Overy.

Freeborn & Peters (Chicago): David Doyle joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on commercial litigation. Previously, Doyle was a partner at Winston & Strawn.

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn (Detroit): Anna Budde joins the firm’s intellectual property department as partner in the Ann Arbor, Mich., office and will focus on patent and intellectual property matters. Previously, Budde was a partner at Quinn Law Group.

Kelley Drye & Warren (New York): William Gyves joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the New York and Parsippany, N.J., offices and will focus on litigation, arbitration and mediation of complex business disputes. Previously, Gyves was a partner at Epstein Becker & Green.

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (Atlanta): Sean DeBruine joins the firm’s patent litigation team as partner in the Menlo Park, Calif., office and will focus on patent, trade secrets and other complex litigation for technology clients. Previously, DeBruine was a partner at Alston & Bird.

K&L Gates: Haig Oghigian joins the firm’s international arbitration practice as partner in the Tokyo office and will focus on representing clients in a variety of arbitration matters. Previously, Oghigian was a partner at Baker & McKenzie.

Latham & Watkins: Vivian Maese joins the firm’s corporate department as partner in the New York office and will focus on strategic transactions in technology and financial-services regulation. Previously, Maese was a partner at Dechert. Additionally, Sami Al-Louzi joins the firm’s corporate department as partner in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, offices and will focus on equity capital markets in Saudi Arabia and other markets in the Middle East and on cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Al-Louzi was a partner at Vinson & Elkins.

Mayer Brown: Marc Shapiro and Jill Block join the firm’s real estate practice as partners in the New York office and will focus on representing lenders, investors and developers in real estate transactions relating to finance, debt restructuring and hospitality. Previously, Shapiro and Block were partners at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.

Pepper Hamilton (Philadelphia): Neuman Leverett joins the firm’s white-collar litigation and investigations practice group as partner in the Philadelphia office and will focus on complex litigation. Previously, Leverett served as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ted Gropman joined the firm’s construction practice group as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on construction law. Previously, Gropman worked as a solo practitioner.

Snell & Wilmer: Raymond Heyman joins the firm’s natural resources practice as partner in the Phoenix office and will focus on representing electric, gas, water, sewer, solar and telecommunication companies. Previously, Heyman served as president of the Argentina Resistencia Mission, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
