Holland & Knight: Norberto Quintana joins the financial-services practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on cross-border transactions. Previously, Quintana was counsel to Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Wiggin and Dana (New Haven): David Ring joins the firm’s white-collar practice as partner in the Hartford and New Haven offices and will focus on white-collar defense, internal investigations, corporate compliance and civil litigation. Previously, Ring was global director of compliance investigations for United Technologies Corp.

Buchalter Nemer (Los Angeles): Keri Borders joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Los Angles office and will focus on class actions. Previously, Border was a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren.

Carter Ledyard & Milburn (New York): Yoram Keinan joins the firm’s tax department as partner in the New York office and will focus on financial products and institutions. Previously, Keinan was a partner at Greenberg Traurig.

Jackson Lewis: Robert Peabody joins the firm’s white-collar and government enforcement practice as of counsel to the New York office and will represent clients in white-collar criminal and civil matters. Previously, Peabody was of counsel to Collora.

Jones Day: Johannes Perlitt joins the firm’s mergers-and-acquisitions practice as partner in the Frankfurt office and will focus on corporate and capital markets. Previously, Perlitt was a partner at Clifford Chance.

King & Spalding (Atlanta): Carmen Lawrence joins the firm as partner in the New York office and will focus on securities law. Previously, Lawrence was a partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

Littler Mendelson (San Francisco): Kevin Griffith joins the firm as partner in the Columbus office and will focus on labor and employment law. Previously, Griffith was a partner at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur.

McCarter & English (Newark): David Kolodny joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Kolodny was a partner at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt. Edward Hansen joins the corporate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on technology-related matters. Previously, Hansen was a partner at Baker & McKenzie.

McDermott Will & Emery: Richard Welsh joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on the energy sector. Previously, Welsh was a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.

Paul Hastings: Beni Surpin joins the firm as leader of the technology and transactions practice in the San Diego office and will counsel clients in technology and commercial transactions. Previously, Surpin was a partner at DLA Piper.

Quarles & Brady (Milwaukee): Paul Langer joins the firm’s commercial litigation practice and litigation team as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on insurance coverage, products liability and class actions. Previously, Langer was a partner at Proskauer Rose.

Reed Smith: Michael O’Neil joins the firm’s global regulatory enforcement group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on privacy claims. Previ­ously, O’Neil was a partner at DLA Piper.

Seyfarth Shaw (Chicago): Peter Oxman joins the firm’s real estate practice as partner in the Houston office and will focus on transactions. Previously, Oxman was a partner at King & Spalding.

Stinson Leonard Street: Karen Samuels Jones joins the firm’s banking and financial-­services division as partner in the Denver office and will focus on transactions secured by real estate. Previously, Jones was a partner at Perkins Coie.

Tucker Ellis (Cleveland): Laura Hong joins the mass tort and products liability group as partner in the Cleveland office and will focus on ­litigation. Previously, Hong was a partner at Squire Sanders.
