Brian Winterfeldt, 40, and Debra Hughes, 43, have joined Katten Muchin Rosenman as partner and special counsel, respectively. Winterfeldt was previously a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Hughes was previously intellectual property counsel to the American Red Cross. Winterfeldt focuses his trademark practice on Internet-related matters. Winterfeldt and Hughes earned their J.D.s from Georgetown University Law Center and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, respectively.

Robert Fleishman, 59, has joined Morrison & Foerster as senior of counsel to the litigation department. Fleishman, formerly of counsel to Covington & Burling, focuses on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission enforcement, regulation, corporate affairs and public policy. He earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
