Previously, she served as executive director of international intellectual property at the U.S. Chamber’s Global Intellectual Property Center. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Matthew Friedrich, 46, has joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Washington office as partner in the litigation practice. He will focus on white-collar investigations and related litigation for public companies and financial institutions. Previously, he was a partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
Maurice Baskin, 58, has joined Littler Mendelson’s Washington office as shareholder in the legislative and regulatory practice. He also focuses his practice in the areas of labor relations and union organizing, employment discrimination, and wage-and-hour law. Previously, he was a partner at Venable. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Michael Rivera, 46, has joined Venable’s Washington office as partner in the Securities and Exchange Commission and white-collar defense practice. Previously, he was chief investigative counsel with the special inspector general for the Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
