Drinker Biddle & Reath (Philadel­phia): Heath Rosenblat joins the firm’s corporate restructuring practice group as counsel to the New York office and will focus on representing secured lenders, debtors, receivers and trustees. Previously, Rosenblat was of counsel to King & Spalding.

Fish & Richardson: Thomas Frongillo joins the firm’s commercial litigation group as partner in the Boston office and will focus on representing clients in white-collar criminal prosecutions, corporate and regulatory investigations, and complex commercial litigation. Previously, Frongillo was a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Greenberg Traurig: Ameer Ahmad joins the firm’s corporate and securities practice as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, restructuring and general corporate governance. Previously, Ahmad was a partner at DLA Piper.

 

Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg (Houston): Pamela Fulmer joins the firm as partner and will practice in the San Francisco and Cupertino, Calif., offices, focusing on intellectual property litigation as well as disputes related to trade secrets, unfair competition, licensing and other IP issues. Previously, Fulmer was a partner at SNR Denton.

Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt (Alexandria, Va.): Kevin Laurence joins the firm’s post-grant patent proceedings practice group as partner and will focus on patent-related work involving life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other technologies. Previously, Laurence was a partner at Stoel Rives.

Paul Hastings: Sam Cooper joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Houston office and will focus on energy-related litigation matters, including securities and antitrust issues. Previously, Cooper was a partner at Baker Botts.

Sidley Austin: Jennifer Coplan joins the firm’s global technology-transactions practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on advising public and emerging companies on digital media, intellectual property and information-technology matters in domestic and international transactions. Previously, Coplan was a partner at Cooley.

Edwards Wildman Palmer (Boston): David Anderson joins the firm’s intellectual property media and technology group as counsel to the Los Angeles office and will focus on intellectual property, data-protection, privacy, software, Internet and technology issues. Previously, Anders­on was the vice president for business and legal affairs at THQ Inc.

Haynes and Boone (Dallas): Todd Ransom joins the firm’s prime brokerage and equity lending practice group as partner in the New York office and will focus on leveraged and derivative products and brokerage transactions used by financial institutions and private and public funds. Previously, Ransom was in-house counsel for Bank of America Corp.

Nixon Peabody: Gerry Leone joins the firm’s government-investigations and white-collar defense practice as partner in the Boston office and will represent clients in a variety of industries. Previously, Leone had been district attorney of Middlesex County, Mass., since 2006.

Pepper Hamilton (Philadelphia): Yale Bohn joins the firm’s corporate and securities practice group as special counsel to the Princeton, N.J., office and will focus on health care law. Previously, Bohn was vice president and general counsel at Princeton HealthCare System.
