Carter Ledyard & Milburn (New York): Pamela Mann joins the firm’s trusts and estates department as partner and chairwoman of the tax-exempt organizations group. She will focus on representing tax-exempt organizations in governance, regulatory, tax and general corporate matters. Previously, she was founder of the Mann Legal Group.

Jenner & Block (Chicago): George Freeman joins the firm’s content, media and entertainment practice as of counsel to the New York office and will focus on First Amendment litigation and matters regarding media law, intellectual property and other business issues. Previously, Freeman was vice president and assistant general counsel at The New York Times Co.

Jones Day: Yvette McGee Brown joins the firm’s business and tort litigation practice as partner in the Columbus, Ohio, office and will focus on business and tort litigation and appellate practice. Previously, Brown served as a justice on the Ohio Supreme Court.

Zuckerman Spaeder (Washington): Barbara Jones joins the firm as partner in the New York office and will focus on internal investigations, corporate compliance issues and monitorships. Previously, Jones served as a judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Davis Wright Tremaine (Seattle): Erica Wilson joins the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice as partner in the San Francisco office. Wilson will focus on patent litigation and strategic advice involving patents, trade secrets and licensing. Previously, Wilson was a partner at Goodwin Procter.

 

Edwards Wildman Palmer (Boston): Jeffrey Crane joins the firm’s litigation department as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on commercial litigation, class actions and insurance and financial services litigation. Previously, Crane was a partner at Sidley Austin.

Foley & Lardner: Christopher Dono­van joins the firm’s health care industry team and business law department as partner in the Boston office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, buyouts and restructurings. Previously, Donovan was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery.

Lathrop & Gage (Kansas City, Mo.): Michael Clithero joins the firm’s business litigation department as partner in the St. Louis office and will focus on banking and finance, construction, manufacturing and retail. Previously, Clithero was a partner at Husch Blackwell.

Loeb & Loeb: William Kramer joins the firm’s patent litigation and counseling practice as partner in the Chicago office. He will focus on litigation, opinion drafting, patent prosecution and licensing. Previously, Kramer was a partner at Miller, Matthias & Hull.

Lucosky Brookman (Iselin, N.J.): Scott Kline joins the firm as partner and head of the foreign direct-investment practice group in the newly opened Los Angeles office. Kline will focus on corporate and securities law. Previously, Kline was a partner at Blank Rome.
