Cincinnati-based Keating Muething & Klekamp has added new leaders to its real estate and labor and employment groups.

Joining the 105-attorney firm from Frost Brown Todd is G. Randall Ayers, who now heads the 10-attorney labor and employment group. His practice focuses on matters before with National Labor Relations Board and state labor agencies. Ayers is a 1988 graduate of Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Leading Keating Muething’s 12-attorney real estate practice is Daniel Utt, who joins from Katz Teller Brant & Hild. His work focuses on real estate development, transactions, finance and zoning. He is a 1986 graduate of University of Dayton School of Law.

Keating Muething managing partner Paul Muething said the opportunity to lead their practices areas was a key selling point in recruiting both attorneys. The firm had been seeking someone with collective bargaining experience to head the labor and employment group, he said. Previously leading that group was Paul Dorger, a member of the firm’s board of directors. Leading the real estate group was Richard Spoor, whose work focuses primarily on bond matters and municipal law.

Keating Muething’s business is about one-third corporate, one-third litigation and “one-third everything else,” Muething said. The law firm, founded in 1954, owns title agency and consulting subsidiaries.
